Whether a Face Mask can effectively protect human body from infection of viruses and/or bacteria depends on the filtration efficiency of the middle lining cloth of meltblown nonwoven fabic, it must filter more than 95% of micro-particles in air which contains numerous and invisible viruses and bacteria and fungi and so on, otherwise the Face Mask will Not have any efficiency at all for face protection!
The first stage to make a quality meltblown nonwoven fabric is to choose the right material. Unlike normal PP resins of medium to high viscosity for injection molding , PP pellets used for melt-blown process must have a much higher flow rate, therefore the Melt Flow Index of PP raw material has to be as high as up to 1500 and beyond. Scienstein® UHF1500 is specially designed for this purpose and has been widely used by customers all over the world.
