Most of the electrical products of household appliance - such as plug and socket, switches and connectors - have to meet strictest safety regulations in terms of insulation, flammability and high temperature resistance, which has therefore set a very high standard for physical materials to be used making these components by injection molding.
PP 3410PG5 is a type of Polypropylene resin specially designed for flame retardant applications and circumstances, it meets the FR requirement of UL94 V-0 and in compliance with UL 746C safety regulations. The Flame Retardant is phosphorous and is halogen free, therefore it can meet the strictest requirement for enviromental protection. With 25% glass reinforced, it exhibits best balance of mechanical, thermal and electrical property, besides of good performance in weather resistand and hydrolisis. It’s widely used to make accessories and spare parts for electrical equipments such as motors. It’s in shape of pellets, only black color is available.
